Hands down, best Mexican restaurant I've ever been to! With such a remote location, I stumbled upon this gem on the way back from Daffodil Hill and what a fabulous way to end the day that was!
We started with delicious homemade chips and salsa(complementary, as they should be) and great house margaritas. Their dinner plates are very generous.
We had tender and juicy chili verde/ chili colorado and super fresh and crispy taquitos. I must add that their taco salad is the best I've ever had - it's made slightly differently than your fast food restaurant version, and so much better.
Plus, our server Victoria was great! She had a calm and collected vibe as she seemed to manage the whole dining room! She was very kind and quick to bring us our drinks/food/ refills.
Next time you're passing by, be sure to stop in and give them a try! You wont be disappointed! -

This place has, at best, mediocre Mexican food. Beyond that, their clocks are way off. Somehow I always show up 5 mins after the kitchen closes but my internet-connected watch says its 10 mins earlier than the clock on the wall. So if you want Sysco Mexican at 5:30 PM, go here! Otherwise, drive to anywhere else in CA for good Mexican food.

Best restaurant in town, fast service and great ambience. Every time I eat here I am impressed by the flavors imbued within the food. They don't skimp either, each burrito comes packed with meat. Chips and salsa are baller btw.

I'm updating my rating to reflect my mediocre experience today. My wife's shrimp (Camerones Al Ajillo) was overcooked and mealy. I had a hamburger which was ok, except the bottom bun was very soggy. It was very busy and I believe my issues were from our food sitting too long before being served. Regardless, I will give it a while before going back.

If you're really into the 70s this is the place for you. Wood paneling, sticky carpet and decor straight from the Brady Bunch's house.
Food is greasy and Luke warm.
On the plus side it came really quickly, leading us to believe they had it waiting under a heat lamp before we'd even arrived.
Bathroom looked like it was last cleaned in 1976.
